I came up with the business name Death & Roses during an ego death. We actually go through many of them. At least I did. This could have stemmed with how much trauma I have been through.
This ego death was a major one that led me down to my highest calling as a Holistic Practictioner. While, I was on the right path as a witch, I always knew that I had an even higher calling. That my gifts were meant to be shared instead of kept myself. So, I took action and now have an accredited certification as a Spiritual Life Coach, Intuitive Energy Healer, and Hypnotherapist.
The Death in Death & Roses does not mean a physical death, but an ego death. It doesn’t stop there though, it and the main logo was also inspired by the tarot card Death.
The Death tarot card is all about transformation and ego death. On social media I explained this in a different way The White Reaper coming into union with Crimson Rose. The White Reaper being the ego and Crimson Rose being the Self capable of evolving.
The Rose in Death & Roses is a combination of a few things. My pen name or social media profile is Crimson Rose/ Crimson Autumn Rose. Autumn symbolizes the season of my current journey, as it started on the Autumn Equinox. The rose has many meaning depending on the color of it, but I’m focusing on the red rose which stands for passion, romance, and beauty. Passion as in the persuing of my passion, romance as in the union of self and ego, and the beauty of being yourself.
Putting Death & Roses together is the reflection of the spiritual journy from ego to the heart center soulful self. I certainly have learned a lot from this journey. I’m sure there is still a lot more to learn. Now, I want to help others get through it. That leads me to my updates.
